The 3 pillars of my work
I offer an approach that combines therapeutic and coaching aspects to achieve deep, lasting and solution-oriented results.
Attachment theory and attachment styles
My work is framed by consideration of attachment theory (Bowlby 1958) and Integrated Attachment Theory (Thais Gibson 2022). Human science has been concerned with the different attachment styles - i.e. the way we emotionally connect with others - for more than 70 years.
It defines "insecure" and "secure" attachment behaviour and assigns each person an attachment type, an attachment style.
People with secure attachment behaviour usually have good experiences with attachment and relationships early in their lives.
People with insecure attachment behaviour have often had painful and negative experiences in the relationship with their earliest attachment figures - the parents.
Each of us develops an attachment and relationship pattern in this first relationship of our lives, which we then take with us into relationships as adults.
Not all of these patterns prove to be useful in love relationships. Learned negative behaviour patterns and coping mechanisms do not lead to the fulfilling, secure and harmonious relationships that perhaps each of us wishes for deep inside.
Thais Gibson hat einen umfassenden Ansatz entwickelt, der als Integrated Attachment Theory (IAT) bekannt ist und der die klassische Bindungstheorie mit anderen therapeutischen Methoden kombiniert. Auf der Grundlage von mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten Forschung und praktischer Erfahrung bietet sie Strategien für persönliches Wachstum und Heilung an.
Im Kern geht es in diesem Ansatz darum, das wir unser unsicheres Bindungsverhalten, all unsere Muster, die wir erlernt haben und uns nicht mehr nützen, ablegen und heilen und in uns ein sicheres Bindungsverhalten verankern können.
Seinen unsicheren Bindungsstil in einen sicheren zu verwandeln, bedeutet, dass wir uns die beste Chance geben, die Art und Weise, wie wir Beziehungen bisher erlebt haben zu transformieren. Ein sicheres Bindungsverhalten zu haben, gibt uns die größte Chance, um in Beziehungen glücklich zu werden und positive Erfahrungen zu machen.
In unserer Zusammenarbeit begleite ich dich basierend auf den oben erläuterten Konzepten auf dem Weg, weg von ungesundem Beziehungsverhalten, hin zu einem, dass die Liebe möglich macht, die du dir wünscht.

Working with the subconscious
According to current science, 95% of our life experiences are created by our subconscious mind. It controls almost all of our beliefs, behaviours, decisions and feelings. In order to really change something in our lives, it is enormously important to gain access to the subconscious and to anchor something new there.
In our work together we will look at what is surfacing for you today and how you can use it to create deep transformation. I show you how to speak the "language" of the subconscious, how to "overwrite" old patterns and how to create lasting change.

​This is a central element of my work.I want to be there for you and create a safe space where you can be with everything that belongs to you.
Furthermore, I focus on bringing you piece by piece into independence so that you have the tools to deal with hurdles in life with confidence in the future.
Taking into account your personal transformation points, we work with different tools. The focus is on giving you techniques that we will practise together and that you can then use independently at home.
Through these tools you will on the one hand experience first quick changes and solutions in your everyday life.
On the other hand, you will be empowered to be your own coach in the long run and to accompany yourself optimally through all difficult situations that life could offer you.
